HOME 4DAT iOS App
Privacy Policy
Effective date: May 28, 2026
Overview
HOME 4DAT helps homeowners organize residential properties, home systems, repair tasks, scheduled maintenance, bills, utilities, vendors, permits, records, and related photos. This policy explains how the HOME 4DAT iOS app handles information. It is intended to support the privacy information required for App Store submission and to give users a clear public privacy policy URL.
Information You Provide or Create
The app may store information you enter or choose to add, including:
- Property details such as address, jurisdiction, parcel, utility, and residential system information.
- Repair task and maintenance records such as titles, descriptions, priorities, dates, costs, bids, vendors, and completion status.
- Photos you capture with the camera or import from your Photos library for task documentation.
- Notes, compliance references, permit details, bills, records, and other home operations information you add in the app.
- Contact information you voluntarily provide when asking for support.
Camera and Photos Access
HOME 4DAT requests camera access so you can document bills, repair tasks, bids, progress, and completion photos. The app requests Photos access so you can import existing photos into a task photo folder. When supported by the app workflow, you may choose whether to keep or delete original photos after they have been copied into HOME 4DAT.
HOME 4DAT does not access your camera or Photos library unless you grant permission through iOS and use a feature that needs that access. You can change these permissions at any time in the iOS Settings app.
Local Storage and Transmission
The current app foundation is designed to store property records, tasks, and photo attachments locally on your device unless you choose to export, share, send information for support, view ads, or connect the app to a backend service in a development or future production configuration.
If cloud sync, accounts, uploads, or production backend services are added, this policy will be updated before those practices are used in a public App Store release.
How Information Is Used
Information in HOME 4DAT is used to provide app functionality, including:
- Organizing property records and home system categories.
- Creating, editing, and reviewing repair and scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Attaching photos and context to tasks.
- Showing dashboards, cost summaries, operational reminders, and record details.
- Responding to support requests when you contact us.
No Advertising or Third-Party Analytics
HOME 4DAT does not display advertising and does not include third-party advertising or analytics SDKs. The app does not sell personal information, and it does not track you across other apps or websites.
Amazon Affiliate Links
HOME 4DAT includes a home-consumables reorder tracker. Some product and search links in the app are Amazon Associates affiliate links. When you buy through one of these links, 4DAT may earn a commission at no extra cost to you.
As an Amazon Associate, 4DAT earns from qualifying purchases.
Opening an affiliate link launches Amazon in your browser. Any information you provide on Amazon is handled under Amazon's own privacy practices, described at Amazon's Privacy Notice.
Third-Party Services
The app runs on Apple platforms and may use Apple system services such as the camera, Photos picker, local storage, and App Store distribution.
This website may be hosted by a third-party hosting provider that processes standard web request data, such as IP address, browser type, requested URL, and request time, to deliver the site and maintain security.
Data Retention and Deletion
Records stored locally in the app remain on your device until you edit or delete them, uninstall the app, erase your device, or otherwise remove the app data through iOS. Support messages are retained only as long as needed to respond and maintain reasonable business records.
To request help deleting data or to ask a privacy question, contact us at [email protected].
Children
HOME 4DAT is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures appropriate to the app's current local-storage design. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, so users should avoid adding information they do not want stored on their device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as HOME 4DAT changes. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date above and publish the revised policy at this URL.
